The Bearcat Benefit 19-20 Wrap Up

The Bearcat Benefit: That 70’s Party was an overwhelming success thanks to the exceptional generosity and support of the San Mateo High School community! More than 220 guests donned their finest 70’s duds and enjoyed a spirited evening of bidding to benefit San Mateo High School students.

Thank you to the more than 60 parent volunteers and nearly 120 SMHS students and recent alumni who contributed their time and talents to producing the most successful Bearcat Benefit to date! And special thanks to the remarkable SMHS Staffulty who supported this event by donating auction items, directed student performances and visual art projects, and provided photos and quotes and descriptions of how the Foundation impacts their classrooms.

That 70’s Party capped a record-setting fundraising season by the Foundation, with total funds raised through Annual Giving, Corporate Matching, Business Sponsorships and Bearcat Benefit proceeds of $375,000!
